Support adolescents in their mental health journey by guiding them through experiential therapies and activities of daily living. Provide safe de-escalation, maintain a supportive atmosphere, and document client progress daily.
Provide safe verbal de-escalation or physical intervention techniques with upset teens as they arise Serve as a positive role model and enforce a supportive atmosphere Communicate important observations and updates to the Program Director At end of shift, document client progress notes daily With an empathetic heart encourage teen engagement in activities of daily living (ADLs) and coping skill applications
Age: 21+ years of age or older Education: High school diploma or equivalent G.E.D required. Associates or bachelor's in human services, psychology, criminal justice or minimum of 2 years' experience working in Human Services.
