Job summary

At KVC, our therapists provide compassionate care to children and teens, guiding them on their healing journey through individual, group, and family therapy sessions. They offer crucial crisis intervention services, conduct comprehensive assessments, document clinical services, and manage cases to ensure coordinated and effective care.

The Therapist II will work with children and adolescents in residential care, supporting their emotional well-being and helping them navigate the path to recovery, stability, and personal growth. This position requires a fully licensed clinician with the ability to provide independent clinical services and maintain high standards of therapeutic care.

Compensation: $62,000–$70,000 annually (depending on licensure and experience)

Additional Earning Potential: Opportunity to earn up to $18,000 in incentives

Qualifications

Education: Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field

Licensure/Certification

  • Must hold a current independent clinical license in the state of
  • Missouri, including one of the following:
  • LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor)
  • LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker)
  • LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist)
  • Licensed Psychologist or other equivalent independent clinical licensure
