  • Salary: $54,884-$65,719 The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene, Inc. is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a full-time Research Support Assistant III position. This position involves direct contact with older adults with memory problems. Beyond administration of cognitive tests and rating scales, data entry, regulatory affairs, and scientific manuscript writing, all activities are supervised. The position is 2 years long. A robust and demonstrable interest in aging and Alzheimer's disease is required.

Duties and Responsibilities

Direct patient engagement including screening and study core assessment timepoints. Administration of cognitive tests and rating scales and scoring. Entering data accurately. Maintaining charts and entering data into EMR Taking minutes during meetings. Work on regulatory binders and requests. Do IRB related work. Familiarity with statistical programs like SAS, SPSS, and R. Facility with Powerpoint. Establish and maintain study-related regulatory tasks and reviews Perform screening procedures, along with other assessments and outcome monitoring protocols (in-person and over Zoom/phone) Assist with manuscript and presentation preparation using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc. Perform blood draw protocols after receiving a standard phlebotomy training Communicate and interact with study participants in the form of interviews, questionnaires, and performance tasks and other sites if a multi-site study in a professional manner Coordinate lab meetings and document contents discussed during meetings

Minimum Qualifications: BA or BS in psychology or neuroscience

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree (MA or MS) in Psychology or Neuroscience. Candidates should have demonstrable interest in aging and Alzheimer's disease
