Part Time Evenings- 2

30pm-11:00pm, every other weekend and holiday rotation- 32 hours a biweekly pay. Rates starting at $17.25/hour, plus shift differential of $2.50 for evenings and an additional $1.00 for weekends!

At Frederick Living Communities, the Memory Support Nurse Aide provides direct care to residents in Aspen while promoting independence and person-centered care. This role ensures residents’ physical, emotional, and social needs are met in a safe and supportive environment.

  • What You’ll Do
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and mobility to and from meals and activities
  • Support residents with eating and drinking, including meal selection, cueing, and hands-on assistance as needed
  • Offer snacks and hydration throughout the day
  • Provide redirection and de-escalation techniques for residents with cognitive impairments
  • Record and report resident eating habits and vital signs to the coordinator or charge nurse
  • Encourage resident participation in leisure activities, social events, walking programs, or other therapeutic activities
  • Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and death procedures
  • Maintain resident records accurately and in a timely manner
  • Administer medications as defined by the medication procedure and physicians’ orders
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents

Requirements

Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED, along with CPR/First Aid and Direct Care Staff certifications. Prior experience caring for older adults with cognitive impairments is preferred, and annual dementia education is required.

  • Change bed linens and wash residents’ laundry as needed
  • Respond promptly to resident requests and emergencies, including those from family, visitors, or staff
