The role involves delivering professional nursing care in the operative setting for patients undergoing cardiovascular surgical or other invasive procedures. Responsibilities include performing both scrub and circulating functions, such as handling instruments, monitoring the patient's condition, and assisting physicians with line access and intubation.
Candidates must possess a Licensed Registered Nurse credential from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing before the hire date. Required certifications include BLS Provider within one month of hire, and Advanced Life Support within six months of hire, obtained via American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

How you’ll make an impact in this role Delivering specialized care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgical and other invasive procedures. Experienced in performing scrub duties, including the handling of complex instruments and supplies during cardiovascular surgeries. Proficient in monitoring, recording, and communicating patient conditions while managing overall nursing care throughout the procedure. Diligent in preparing cardiovascular operating rooms, surgical instruments, and specialized equipment for use.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
What additional preferences we're seeking Nurses with two years of OR experience who want to elevate their career by joining our CVOR team. Enjoys working collaboratively with an expert surgical team in a high-acuity environment, focusing on advanced cardiac and vascular procedures.
