The technologist will attach and operate electrodes for EEG procedures, instructing patients beforehand and monitoring them during the process, reporting any abnormal findings. Key duties also involve identifying and correcting artifacts, editing results for physician review, and maintaining EEG equipment and supplies.
Minimum requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of experience, or an Associate's degree, or 4 years of specific job experience, along with BLS certification within 30 days of hire. An Electroencephalographic Technician credential from ABRET is preferred.

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Electroencephalographic Technician credentialed from the ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing & Accreditation (ABRET) preferred.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
