ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner for a travel assignment providing on-site primary care services in a correctional setting. The NP will deliver comprehensive primary care to adult patient populations, manage acute and chronic conditions, and coordinate follow-up care. This is a full-time weekday role with potential for extension based on ongoing need and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Provide primary care services to adult patients in a correctional setting
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic conditions
Perform physical exams and health assessments
Order and interpret diagnostic tests
Prescribe medications and treatments within scope
Manage and coordinate ongoing care plans
Document all encounters and orders in the medical record
Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams
Qualifications
Active Ohio Nurse Practitioner license required
Family NP or Adult-Gerontology NP certification required
