The role involves assuring the appropriate selection, dosing, administering, and dispensing of medication orders while reviewing them to prevent and resolve drug-related problems. Responsibilities also include compounding medications, providing drug information, communicating with clinicians, and overseeing technical staff.
Candidates must possess a Pharmacist credential from the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy obtained before the hire or transfer date. A Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy is required for this position.
