Position Summary

This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced, respected practice as an orthopedic Radiologic Technologist. A successful candidate must maintain a professional image in the office and in all communications. The ideal candidate must also be able to multi-task while maintaining good patient and staff relations. Essential Job Functions: Order x-ray exams in EMR system Prepare x-ray equipment
Verify patient information before performing exams Position patient appropriately to obtain x-ray as ordered by physician Use appropriate technical factors to limit patient radiation exposure Keeps the x-ray exam room and equipment clean, organized and stocked Sterilizes procedure tools when necessary Provide courteous and friendly service to all patients, physicians, and co-workers Contribute to a positive work environment by helping with any other tasks to help the clinic run smoothly Attends all required meetings Travel to the main clinic in St. George when extra coverage is needed

Qualifications

Active UT or NV Radiologic Technologist License/ UT or NV Limited Practical Technologist License (REQUIRED) Graduate of an accredited program (REQUIRED) Medical terminology (PREFERRED) 6 Months+ of clinical experience (PREFERRED) Good customer service and communication skills.
