Pre-Admission Testing RN / PACU - FULL-TIME

• The Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) Nurse will be responsible for assessing patients’ health and medical history prior to surgery, conducting necessary diagnostic tests, ensuring that patients are well-prepared for their upcoming procedures, and assisting the surgical scheduler with scheduling and coordination.
• Additionally, the PAT Nurse will be responsible for making pre-op phone calls to patients to discuss important information regarding their surgery and to address any questions or concerns they may have.
• The nurse will also provide post-surgery follow-up care, including making follow-up phone calls to monitor recovery and ensure patient satisfaction.
• The PAT Nurse will maintain detailed logs, as deemed necessary, to track surgical procedures and ensure accurate documentation.
• This role is crucial in ensuring smooth surgical flow and enhancing overall patient care.

Education

Minimum Associates Degree required. BSN preferred.

Experience

Two (2) years of previous PACU Nursing experience preferred.

Licenses/Certificates

Current RN licensure in the state of Nevada. Current BLS, ALS, PALS required prior to start. CPI within 6 months of hire.

**RN Pay range

$37.80 - $47.25 (depending on experience)**
