The Physical Therapist Assistant will implement the established plan of care professionally and competently, ensuring quality care while screening residents quarterly to identify functional declines requiring Physical Therapy intervention. Responsibilities also include monitoring progress, assisting with reassessments and discharge planning, supervising aides, and educating staff and family.
Candidates must possess an Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program and hold active state licensure and necessary certifications as established by state and national boards. Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills are required, along with knowledge of company policies and clinical programs.
