The Speech Therapist assesses patients, develops therapy plans, and provides speech therapy services under physician direction. They also monitor patient safety, maintain records, and communicate treatment progress with the healthcare team.
A Master’s degree in speech pathology and a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Pathology are required. One year of experience as a speech therapist is preferred, along with effective communication skills and knowledge of therapy procedures.
