The Medical Assistant will perform clinical and clerical duties to prepare patients for visits, including setting up treatment rooms, recording patient data, and maintaining necessary supplies. Key clinical tasks involve assisting providers during examinations, drawing blood, administering medications/immunizations, and performing basic lab tests.
Candidates must have completed a Medical Assistant program and possess or be able to obtain a Medication Aide License through the Nebraska Medication Aide Registry. Strong computer skills, excellent communication abilities, high organization, and a commitment to customer service are required.
