The Respiratory Therapist II assesses, treats, and cares for patients suffering from breathing disorders by initiating and conducting therapeutic procedures. This role involves maintaining accurate patient records and selecting, assembling, checking, and operating necessary respiratory care equipment.
Candidates must possess an Associate of Science in Respiratory Care or Cardiopulmonary Sciences and must be eligible for the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) exam. Active licensure as an RRT by the State of Florida Department of Health and current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification are mandatory.
