The role involves providing direct nursing care according to organizational policies, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, and recording patient condition updates. The nurse will also act as the primary coordinator for patient care across disciplines and manage physician/nursing orders and discharge planning needs.
Candidates must possess a Registered Nurse credential from the Indiana Board of Nursing and a diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing, or required professional licensure at hire. A mandatory requirement is obtaining the BLS Provider credential within one month of the hire or transfer date, accepted from either the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
