The advanced practice provider manages inpatient and outpatient care, including performing physical examinations, diagnosing medical conditions, and formulating treatment plans. They also assist surgeons in the operating room, perform diagnostic procedures, and participate in multidisciplinary rounds and on-call rotations.
Candidates must hold a Master's or higher degree in nursing or be a graduate of an accredited physician assistant program. Current Florida licensure as an APRN or Physician Assistant and BLS certification are required.
The advanced practice provider provides inpatient/ outpatient management, consultations, and co-management of patients in the acute care and practice setting.
