The Ophthalmic Technician performs data collection and diagnostic testing to assist physicians in patient care. They are also responsible for maintaining exam rooms, sterilizing instruments, and documenting patient information in the EMR.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of experience in an ophthalmology or optometry setting. Certification as a Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) is required or currently in progress.

The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $20.55-30.85 with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
