Provide preventative, preoperative, and postoperative musculoskeletal care to patients of all ages. Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans created by Physical Therapists and educate patients on their rehabilitation process.
Requires an Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy and a valid State of Michigan Physical Therapy Assistant license. Preference is given to candidates with over one year of experience in an orthopaedic setting.

As a Certified Physical Therapy Assistant at Orthopaedic Associates of Michigan, you will provide preventative, preoperative, and postoperative care to patients of all ages who are experiencing varying degrees of pain and injury to the musculoskeletal system. You will aide in their rehabilitation by following their individualized plans of care created by the Physical Therapists. This includes educating the patients on their treatments, ensuring they are following through with their plan, and acting as a liaison between them and the Physical Therapists. The Physical Therapy Assistant will help ensure that every patient at OAM is provided with empathetic and outstanding care, centering on the ultimate goal of rehabilitating them so that they are able to lead active lives and go about their day to day tasks without pain.
