The PTA will implement physical therapy programs and therapeutic exercises to help patients regain mobility and strength in their homes. They are responsible for administering modalities, documenting progress, and collaborating with Physical Therapists to adjust care plans.
Candidates must hold an Associate Degree in Science or Applied Science and an active PTA license in the state of Ohio. A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current CPR certification are also required.
Must be willing to travel to patients’ homes to provide care. Previous experience in physical therapy, rehabilitation, or other areas preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication and organization skills. Ability to build rapport with in-home patients, Physical Therapist (PT) and Assisted Living Facility (ALF)/Independent Living Facility (ILF staff), as necessary. Work in a fast-paced, flexible work environment. Must be able to handle the physical workload with kindness, compassion, and empathy. Strong leadership qualities. Why Summit?
