Job Summary
- Performs Fluoroscopy and Scrubs Procedural Cases.
- Applies principles of radiation protection and quality control of C-arms.
- Exercises professional and ethical judgement in the performance of procedures, including providing fluoroscopy or scrubbing specific cases.
- Provides exceptional patient care, assisting with transportation and peri-operative patient care.
- Recognizes patient conditions requiring immediate action and initiates life support measures.
Job qualifications
Education and Training
Graduate of Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (AMA) Accredited Radiography Program, or equivalent.
Licensures/ Certifications
- Washington State license required.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification or equivalent. Surgical Technologist License or equivalent.
- Current American Heart Association’s BLS/CPR certification card on hire or within orientation period.
Experience
• Minimum of two years’ experience in additional modality, required.
Skills and Abilities
- Competency in components of radiography and procedural practice as appropriate.
- Demonstrated ability to assess and observe patient and maintain surgical care principles specific to pain management procedures performed within Interventional Pain Consultants.
