The Medical Assistant performs patient care activities including obtaining vital signs, administering medications, and preparing exam rooms. They are responsible for documenting patient data in the EMR and assisting providers in a fast-paced clinic setting.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and be a Washington State Certified or Registered Medical Assistant. Previous clinic experience is preferred.

The Medical Assistant performs various patient care activities and related services in caring for the needs and comfort of patients under the direction of the physician, mid-level provider or RN. Duties include (but are not limited to): obtaining basic assessment information, including vital signs, and point of care test; advocating for patients; administering prescribed medications, preparing exam rooms, procedure room, and assisting providers; documenting in the EMR according to TSH policy and procedures in a fast paced clinic setting.
