Deliver appropriate treatment for acute and chronic pulmonary and cardiovascular disorders under physician guidance. Perform respiratory therapeutics, manage non-invasive ventilators, and conduct arterial blood gas analysis and documentation.
Requires an Associate of Science in Respiratory Care or Cardiopulmonary Sciences and a valid RRT license from the State of Florida. Must hold NBRC credentials and current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification.
Respiratory Care Practitioners are integral members of the health care team. In accordance with established protocols and under the guidance of the physician, they help determine and deliver appropriate treatment for acute and chronic disorders of the pulmonary and cardiovascular systems.
