The Medical Assistant prepares patients for visits and ensures a smooth workflow by collaborating with providers and nurses. Key tasks include documenting chief complaints, reviewing medications, and performing clinical screenings and lab tests.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or certification with one year of experience. Basic Life Support Certification is required, and experience in pediatric care or Spanish fluency is preferred.
High School Diploma or GED and successful completion of a Medical Assistant program (diploma) from an accredited school or be certified as a medical assistant with one year of experience. Basic Life Support Certification is also required. Oral and written proficiency in English, bi-lingual fluency in Spanish preferred. Experience in Pediatric Care preferred.
