The role involves identifying patient needs, documenting medical histories, and providing age-appropriate care. The assistant also supports medical examinations and ensures timely documentation of medical necessity in patient records.
A high school diploma and BLS certification from the American Heart Association are required upon hire. Candidates must obtain CMA, CCMA, or RMA certification within one year of hire, and one year of experience is preferred.
