Cardiovascular Technician

What we’re looking for • Education

• Graduate of a Program in Discipline (Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology) - Required
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required to be obtained within 90 days of employment.
• Experience: One-year cardiovascular lab or special procedures experience - Preferred. Must be able to perform all vascular/cardiac procedures involving the operation of imaging equipment including assisting the physician during the actual catheterization procedure.
• Licenses: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with a thorough working knowledge of practices and experiences in a Cardiac/Vascular Cath Lab.
• Required
• Skills: Familiarity with organization and functions of each hospital department Leadership ability, integrity, and initiative required. Ability to solve problems effectively and handle stress in a positive manner. Maintain harmonious relationships with nursing personnel, medical staff, hospital administration, and all hospital department.
