The LPN provides comprehensive postoperative monitoring, pain management, and wound care for patients in the Med/Surg Overflow unit. They are responsible for performing accurate patient assessments and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality care.
Candidates must hold a current state LPN license and obtain Basic Life Support certification within 14 days of hire. A minimum of one year of nursing experience is required.

Our Medical–Surgical Post‑Surgical & Overflow Unit is a 32‑bed inpatient unit specializing in the care of patients recovering from general, orthopedic, and neurosurgical procedures. The unit also supports medical–surgical overflow as needed. Nurses on this unit typically manage a 1:6 nurse‑to‑patient ratio, providing comprehensive postoperative monitoring, pain management, and coordinated interdisciplinary care.
