How you’ll contribute
An Ultrasound Technologist who excels in this role
- Provides quality ultrasound studies to include abdominal, OB, vascular, neonatal, pelvis, breast, and testicular small parts for use by the radiologist in the diagnosis of patient illness.
- Performs sonographic examinations and procedures as requested by the referring physician delivery of care and services
- Maintains appropriate files, supplies and equipment.
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- Maintains appropriate supplies and a clean and orderly work area.
- Notifies supervisor of needed items
- Maintains equipment to ensure accuracy and longevity
- Provides age-appropriate care to all patients
- Acts as a physician/staff consultant and educational resources for appropriateness and accuracy of scans

- What we’re looking for Applicants should have a current Michigan RDMS license and possess a degree from an accredited school. Additional requirements include:
- Education: Graduate of Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or School of Radiology Required; Graduate from an accredited RDMS program
- Licenses: ARRT OR RDMS Certification (or meets Education Requirements from accredited RDMS program)
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
- ARRT should have one year of RDMS experience (preferred)
