Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing patient respiratory assessments; document findings and respond to changes in status
• Deliver and monitor inhalation therapies, oxygen, aerosolized medications, and chest therapies per physician orders
• Manage ventilator support, including setup, adjustments, and weaning protocols under supervision and hospital protocols
• Conduct arterial blood gas collection and interpretation; adjust treatment plans in collaboration with the medical team
• Monitor patient response to therapies, document progress, and communicate changes to physicians and nursing staff
• Ensure equipment safety, proper maintenance, infection control practices, and adherence to standard procedures

Requirements

• Active Respiratory Therapist credential with RRT designation and minimum 2 years of hospital-based experience
• Availability for 3x12-hour night shifts and the ability to work in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Demonstrated competency in ventilator management, airway care, and monitoring of critically ill patients
• Effective team communication skills and ability to document clearly in the charting system
• Current ability to work in the United States and meet any site-specific onboarding requirements
