Personal Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aides to join our team in Auburn Hills, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients who need assistance with daily activities, helping them maintain independence and improve their quality of life. This position offers competitive pay ranging from $14.00 to $19.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Monitor clients’ health by observing changes in condition and reporting concerns to medical professionals or family members.
• Follow care plans and instructions from healthcare providers.
• Maintain client confidentiality and respect their dignity at all times.

Requirements

• Prior experience in personal care or a related healthcare setting is a plus.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Clear background check and any state-required certifications.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
