The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional nursing care and clinical support in a fast-paced OB/GYN practice. This role is responsible for patient assessments, assisting with examinations and procedures, coordinating care, administering treatments, and educating patients on their health and treatment plans. The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, and committed to delivering safe, high-quality care while supporting positive patient outcomes.
Patient Care & Clinical Support Perform patient assessments, including medical histories, vital signs, and clinical evaluations Assist providers during examinations, procedures, and treatments Administer medications, injections, and treatments within scope of practice and provider orders Monitor patient conditions and communicate concerns or changes to providers Collect specimens and coordinate laboratory testing and diagnostic procedures Provide prenatal, postpartum, gynecologic, and preventive health support Patient Education & Care Coordination Educate patients on medications, treatment plans, preventive care, and wellness initiatives Provide patient education related to pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and women's health concerns Coordinate referrals, follow-up appointments, and continuity of care services Support patients and families with clear, compassionate communication Documentation & Compliance Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system Ensure compliance with infection control standards, clinical protocols, and regulatory requirements Prepare and maintain exam rooms, equipment, and clinical supplies Team Collaboration Collaborate with physicians, certified nurse midwives, LPNs, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals Provide guidance and support to clinical support staff as appropriate Contribute to a positive, team-oriented clinical environment focused on exceptional patient care
Required Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia or eligibility for licensure Labor and delivery experience required Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills Knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and nursing best practices Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment Preferred Experience in OB/GYN, women's health, labor and delivery, or related specialty areas Previous outpatient clinic or physician practice experience Skills & Competencies Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care Ability to educate and support patients and families effectively Team-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance Why Join Our Team?
