Responsibilities

• These positions are part-time with every other weekend rotation.
• Our psych units work 12-hour shifts available - 6:30am-7:00pm or 6:30pm-7:00am.

• Located in Shippensburg, PA., our 112-bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13-17.
• We also have two substance use disorder outpatient offices in Carlisle and Chambersburg.

Duties and Responsibilities

Monitors unit milieu and helps to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients Leads activity groups for patients according to the program schedule Conducts patient observation rounds throughout the shift to ensure safety Works collaboratively with unit nursing staff on patient care activities Responds to patient crisis events accordingly using de-escalation techniques.

Bachelor's degree in a psychology-related field is highly preferred High School Diploma or GED required.
