How you’ll contribute
A Rehabilitation Technician who excels in this role
- Follows patient care-related tasks as determined by the OT/PT/ST to assist the patients achieve therapy goals
- Performs routine clerical tasks for Therapy Department.
- Must be able to communicate in both verbally and in writing to members of the rehabilitation team
- Visual acuity to perceive patient reactions to treatment and to read instructions
- Able to lift and carry equipment, supplies and materials up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Prepares patient for prescribed treatment and assists professional staff with patient treatment.
- Prepares, cleans and maintains treatment areas and equipment.
- Procures and keeps an accurate inventory of all therapy supplies.
- Other duties as assigned

- What we’re looking for
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 6-12 months relevant experience strongly recommended in a rehab setting
- CPR certification (when required)
- Willing to participate in on-the-job training after initial orientation
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Appropriate telephone communication skills.
- Ability to Transport, lift, transfer, move and reposition patients in the patient room, Therapy Gym and other common areas of the hospital.
