The Peer Support Specialist will use their lived experience to guide individuals through recovery via individual and group sessions while maintaining a caseload that includes veterans, adults with serious mental illness, and those with substance use disorders. Responsibilities also involve establishing positive social environments, developing community partnerships, providing advocacy, and performing non-clinical case management services.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and either hold a Peer Certificate (NJ CPRS or NAADAC NCPRSS) or be actively pursuing one, along with at least one year of experience providing recovery-related supports. Preferred qualifications include lived experience with military service and bilingual capabilities, and a valid driver's license is mandatory.

Schedule: Full-time, flexible hours including two evenings per week and on-call
