The Medical Assistant performs patient care activities including obtaining vital signs, administering medications, and assisting providers in a clinic setting. They are also responsible for documenting patient information in the EMR and maintaining a safe, professional environment.
Candidates must hold a High School Diploma or GED and possess a Washington State Certified Medical Assistant credential or registration. Previous clinic experience is preferred to succeed in this fast-paced environment.

The Medical Assistant performs various patient care activities and related services in caring for the needs and comfort of patients under the direction of the physician, mid-level provider or RN. Duties include (but are not limited to): obtaining basic assessment information, including vital signs, and point of care test; advocating for patients; administering prescribed medications, preparing exam rooms, procedure room, and assisting providers; documenting in the EMR according to TSH policy and procedures in a fast paced clinic setting.
