Perform various types of EEG testing and monitoring under the direction of a Neurologist. Maintain patient data for interpretation and ensure the cleanliness and functionality of monitoring equipment.
Requires at least 6 months of patient care experience in a healthcare setting. An associate degree and professional certification in EEG, Evoked Potentials, or Nerve Conduction are preferred.
Regions Hospital is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Tech to work fulltime with our Neurodiagnostic Lab.
This position involves providing the technical component of all EEG testing types including routine, sleep deprived, portable, video and carotid endartectomy monitoring under the direction of a Neurologist; maintains patient data for interpretation, storage and retrieval; cleans and maintains equipment, and all monitoring products. Performs other duties as assigned.
6 months patient care experience in a health care setting.
