Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for medical-surgical patients, including monitoring, assessment, and intervention.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, with careful documentation.
• Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and escalate when needed.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and update care plans.
• Document accurately in the electronic health record and ensure appropriate handoffs during shift changes.
• Support patient and family education, discharge planning, and safety initiatives.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in California
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Ability to work a 3x12 night shift schedule and 36 hours per week
• Willingness to participate in a 13-week travel assignment starting 07/06/2026
