The Sonographer/Ultrasound Tech performs medical sonograms under the general supervision of the Director of Imaging Services. This role requires exercising professional judgment in performing procedures and ensuring safe patient care.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED along with a minimum of 12 months of continuing education or practical experience in ultrasound. Certification by ARDMS is required, or the candidate must be in the process of obtaining it within one year, alongside current American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification.
